Jennifer’s interest in exploring movement brought her to Nia in 2001. She has taught Nia since 2006 both locally and internationally. Jennifer held the position of Artist Educator with the Royal Conservatory's Living Through the Arts Program (2008-16) and has participated in research studies examining the impact of creative movement on health.
It is through her own joy of movement that Jennifer is able to inspire others through her teaching. Jennifer believes that everyone has a dancer within, that movement is healing and that, together with music, movement can create magical experiences.
Jennifer says “I am thrilled to be sharing Nia at the Dotsa Bitove Wellness Academy! Through creative movement we are able to express ourselves in unique ways, relate to one another through our shared experiences and have a lot of laughter and fun!”
Jennifer is also delighted to share her interest in creative writing, collaging and an appreciation for the outdoors with Academy Members. She is also enjoying being a new member of the Ukulele Club!
